It could be that one of the wheels or tyres isn't perfectly round, it could also be alignment or balancing

I have taken it in. He mentioned something that it could be a "plastic" insert to make the wheels fit properly.

You mean the locating ring?? That is pretty important

NOTE: He did not say that is the problem, but it could be. He needs to check it out first, hence the alignment and balancing.

Thats correct They convert the wheel's bore to that of the car Only prob with them is that if you take the wheels on and off frequently you are prone to breaking them...

But could also be an alignment or balancing issue too

Another thought is that you could take them to a mag repair specialist and see if they can do anything with them.

Just spoke to him again. Could be looking at $500-$600 for a decent repair and he knows some one on the shore.

not good, any way richard will get a quote on having the wheels fixed up,
and we will sort out something from there, (part refund/help with repair cost)

i had no idea these were bent, i new they had a vibration at higher (than road legal) speed,
Uc's dirfting attempts probabilly did it.

they do most of the shops straighting of rims,
so best going direct rather than a middle man

I'll take my car down to our workshop day the following weekend. Swap the wheels back again and then take them over to Arrow Wheels in a couple of weeks time.
