    Auto or Manual?

If auto, it may be the transmission shudder which is often got by having incorrect or cooked transmission fluid.

all depends on what part of the country you are in.

mitsi on the shore charge about $70 - $80 an hour. the expensive part will be the 10 - 12L of trans fluid

does it do it at high rev's, like 4000rpm and up? Most of the auto trans shuddering problems occur in 4th and 5th gear at 2000-3000rpm.

mostly @ 2-3k in 4 and 5th gears and the shudderimg is slow feels like one of your tyers has a small bulge on it , yea it will do it @ 4k too sumtimes, but when i accelerate up more frm 4k the shuddering will stop and it has happen at a higher rev than 4k about just over but short and fast lik for about 2 sec ... theres times where no shuddering will take place for a day or two, at times for a week but the fact is it happens,

Do the ATF flush asap. If your problem is gearbox shudder, then it is destroying the clutch packs in the box. If you leave it then there is only one way this is going to end up, and it involves you being out of pocket.

There are other possibles for vibrations, but with brown fluid in the box, you'll be killing it anyway. If the ATF doesn't cure the shudder, then be happy that the box is now being looked after and come back for other ideas! Also, try searching these forums for vibration, vibrations, shudder etc.
