I'll update the first post

We work to live, and to live is to drive a VR-4, around corners at speed. But it costs see here
John's just rung me to say he's in Hamilton and collecting the Amsoil gear right now................. and that they have got the extra 3 litres of the 0W30 I wanted there for me too..............Originally Posted by VR4 MAD
Stand by then Brad, John's on his way and all loaded down with the goodies........
Have picked up the oil. Now just have too meet with Bradc to hand-over the Auckland contingent's consignment.
Also have received payments from KiwiTT and VR4 Mad (for the filter).
Oh just so you know. Some of you will be getting your oil in 1 Litre bottles. Only thing is that these are actually US 1 quart bottles, which contain 946ml. Anyway, that's one of the pitfalls with American products I guess.
yeah and the 5l bottles are 4.7 or something. anyways dude, I'll give you a call a little bit later on today.
Hi guys,
The Amsoil order was short two engine flushes. We were meant to order 4 flushes, for William, Ryan, Candee and Rosco. But I only got two. Was only billed for two as well.
Unfortunately, I only realized this after Bradc came and took the stuff for the Auckland guys, which means I'm afraid that Candee and Rosco won't be getting their flushes, sorry! Anyway, when I see you both I will give you each $14.
There's no point calling in at Topfun in Hamilton on my way back to Welly on Monday, because the guy told me they have zero Amsoil stock left, so they definitely won't have any flushes at the Hamilton store.
Anyway, perhaps you can use an alternative engine flush or not use one at all. Bradc reckoned that as long as the old oil you're changing out is synthetic, then an engine flush is not that important.
The rest of the order is fine.
Thanks
If you've already got Amsoil in the engine I don't think the flush is strictly necessary, but if you've got some other random brand in there it is probably a good thing to do.
Thanks again for picking it all up for us!
Doesn't Amsoil have cleaning agents in it? This might alleviate the need for a flush as well.Originally Posted by bradc
Thanks for your trouble John. Brad I will make a plan to pick up the stuff at some time, I had an oil change about 1000km's ago so no rush!
If changing from mineral oil to full synthetic then the flush is a must because the two different types shouldn't be mixed............from what I've been told.
Ja thanks a lot for picking it up for us John
