    FS: 97 Legnum VR4 purple spares/repair

maybe selling if i get a good offer...car was involved in a rear end accident....wil need bumper/bootlid n maybe the metal bumper bar behind the bumper............also engine not running............posted a thread on here regarding this but i no longer have the time money or patience to deal with this.

timing belt didnt snap however the crankshaft sensor broke due to the crankshaft timing gear which has a metal peice behind that SOMEHOW bent n broke the sensor turning the car off n also shredding the timing belt..........i cant guarantee if the bet had slipped or owt before the engine cut off due to the sensor however have been told got a 80% chance that it will be ok............i ordered all the parts.....new sensor (90quid) new belt (70quid) new water pump (70 quid) n a new crankshaft timing gear which was 50quid but not needed as its gna need the metal plate that goes behind it n frankly i cannot be asked waiting another 2 weeks for that special order part from japan..........car was perfect prior to this............was a fresh import to me...around 62,000km,....mmsc touchscreen/tv/heaters etc.....gearbox, AYC box diff thingy, turbos n all other bits n rest of car was spot on........has almost 7-8 months mot aswell.i maybe returning most of the parts to get some money back but if i get a good enough offer for it il throw em in but maybe giving back within the next few days.

damage isnt recorded yet but this is due to lack of time/patience i havnt had time to get the insurance engineer over as i cannot be asked waiting how ever long to get paid out for the car as the other driver MAY or MAY NOT have been insured as he was drunk out of HEAD.............my mobile numbers 07790422136......not 100% sure what im doing with the car yet but u can text me i will reply...may not answer calls as i maybe be busy at work..............

i cant reeally afford to wait n see if its gna be ok or wait for parts n afford the labour n stuff so i may sell it if itet a good enough offer.............i bought it for 4000 in september n i wud say it needs about 1500 max spending on it to restore it IF the timing thing hasnt messed up the valves which i dont think they have from the advice of the mechanic but as am sure ul know there are no guaranatee's.......................looking for around 2200 o.n.o....not really sure what to sell it as i can wait for the insurance n probs get paid what i paid for it but as i said....time are hard for me n could do with getting rid of the headache.......but text me if u have any queries...am open to offers .

would be ideal fo some 1 who has 1 if anything goes wrong with a legnum it is very very hard to get hold of parts quickly..........i was thinkin of maybe eeping it myself as i might buy another 1 n keep it for spares but not sure if il be able to afford 1 yet so would be ideal for some 1 else.cars in west yorkshire.

Sorry if I seem rude it's not intentional.

I lost track of exactly what you were trying to say after the first sentence. It was very difficult to read and understand the information you provide and you have two different mobile numbers. I would seriously recommend that you edit the post and organise it so others may understand what you are selling.

Louis your question supports my above statement as you missed the end paragraph that says he's in West Yorkshire.

J to be fair and please don't take this the wrong way but are you having a laugh £2200 for a car that the engine does not work , that has had a rear end bump which could have knackered the ayc pump .

I think that you should wait for the the insurance to payout , but a question how did a car with a knackered engine get rear ended ?

well i had the rear end accident first....wasnt that bad........car still drove perfect...n then later on after about a month the engine thing happned.....i only said 2200 coz im expecting the engine to actually be ok.....n the damage isnt that bad.....most expensive being probably the new paint that will be needed for the enw bumper/bootlid.......was supposed to have it fixed a few days ago but ran into some more problems with the other car i had so i left it.......
