Tauranga Trip 17th May?

I really want to go on a long cruise, so lets set this date.

Mini-meet at Te-Irirangi or Greenlane perhaps, then final meet at Bombay BP, then down to Matamata, through the Kaimai's, then down into Tauranga? If we leave Bombay at 10am we'd be down there for Lunch.

I'm thinking it is a few weeks after school holidays and a few weeks before Queens Birthday, so hopefully there won't be much traffic on the roads and hopefully few cops Not that that would worry us at all, sitting at 95kmh like we all do

Well I will be driving down to taupo on the 17th or 18th of may for the track day on the 19th - if anybody else is coming to this maybe they can tag along?

Yeah, I'm planning on spending the weekend down Taupo way somewhere and then doing the trackday on Monday, so something can probably be arranged.

I'm keen as I already had thought about doing some sort of roadtrip that weekend and Taupo seems like a brilliant idea.

It might be an idea to spend the night there perhaps and then have a night out on the town!

Yeah I'll probably be going down on Sunday now, as I have a friend's 30th party on Saturday night. Still to confirm, but that's probably what'll happen.
