Iv gotten a few bits from mitsubishi partsworld in rosebank rd. They are decent enough, you dont have to pull it off the car yourself, and theyll post things out if your got a credit card. They are usually happy enough to break up sets of things too, so you could probably just get the one calliper.

Failing that, when i was working for the trailer shop, we used a company called Brake and Clutch hydraulic http://www.whitepages.co.nz/Pages/Se...x=0&Search.y=0 to rebuild calipers. If you can get the parts apart, they have a media blasting machine that strips the parts/rusty bits back to bare metal.

if the pins are stuck just use some wd40 and a copper punch and hit them out....then clean them up with a wire wheel and lube them. they should come out

depends on how seized they are.

Getting mine out twisted the slide pin! Good thing I had spare facelift callipers at home and was able to steal a new slide pin.

btw, do the slide pins need a special type of grease? if so, what, and where to get it?

Yeah, I could do with some. My slide bolts are ok at present, but I would like to re-grease them (both cars) soon. It seems having the slide pin seize is fairly common in the VR-4s, though easily preventable with a bit of maintenance.
