    gearbox gasket

    I there any chance that one of you fine fellas could have a look on CAPS and find a part number for the gasket for the big pan on the front of an autobox? tyvm!

    Had a look on Caps and it looks like you just use RTV sealent

    There is the valve body gasket but I'm not sure if it is held on by the cover. This gasket is chassis number specific if it is that one you need.

    right i been into the $tealership today and your right , there isn't a gasket , at least there isn't anymore,and the sealant costs £55 ..... yeah right.
    Would there be a widely available sealant that is man enough for the job?
