i believe the best place to get the signal is behind the centre console.
take off the passenger centre console trim panel.
the 4 wires come up through the floor in that area
4 wires (2 black, 1 white, 1 blue).
black wire power the O2 sensor and blue and whie are signal.
can't remember which is pos and neg.
if you use a DVM to monitor the blue and white wires you should be able to see if it read out goes pos or neg.
then it is just a case of splicing in the connector or fit an in line connector.
I did this on mine to monitor the O2 sensor with a scope, before i got evoscan software to monitor all of this via the ECU outputs.
hope this help.
Bye for Now!
Here is also something about lambda wires...

take off walnut centre consol panel, take off side consol black panels, and you will see the ECU it is the one on the top.
as you look from the drivers seat, there are 4 multi plugs attached to it. The multi plug on the right has 22 connections, 11 on the top and 11 on the bottom.
The Air Fuel wire is the 6th one in on the top ( the centre one of 11, so it is the 6th from either side) the wire is white.
Do a search on ECU pinouts.
