    transfer case help

    Hi there i have a vr4 transfer casing does anyone know if it will fit a a 4wd 1.8 97 legnum

    I dont think so. The earlier car will be more evo 123 like. Not sure though, what years are the respective cars?

    Ben, they didn't make any changes to the driveline in the Legnum lifespan, so a 1.8GDI transfer case would be the same from 96 to whenever they discontinued the 1.8 model. Same with VR-4's

    its for a 97 gdi legnum mines a 96 or a 97 vr4

    rang a few wreckers, they either didnt know or thought the vr4 one would be bigger :/ anyone here agree with that?

    I would imagine a VR-4 one would be stronger, but not actually bigger in size. Don't really know.

    Can the guy bring you his old one?

    yeh ive asked him for the model number so can compare on caps but its still in the car so he will have to get it out >_<
