Is the AYC pump separate from the AYC?

As per the title. Just wanting to know if the AYC pump is actually part of the AYC housing or just connected to it?

Defintely seperate. Under boot floor just behind the right rear wheel.

The diff is obviously where normal diff's are. The pump is on the drivers side of the boot, beneath the carpets

The pump is actually under the car. It can be got at by climbing under the drivers side rear of the car, and removing 4-6 bolts. This drops down the tray it sits on, but only as far as the flexible hoses will let it.
