Group Buy: EBC brake discs from Conceptua Tuning

OK, Conceptua Tuning have got back to me and have provided some prices for pads. I have listed them here:

Also, they have confirmed that we just need five orders of different items to get the group buy prices

So, I will try and come up with a closing date for this group buy ... when does everyone want to order?

Two questions though:
1. Can they deduct the VAT for orders to Jersey?
2. How much more will the postage be, if any?

I'm interested in the brembo setup, but could really do with waiting for at least 1 month before getting them. Things are very tight in the wallet department at present!

Already got the calipers and repainted them but still need wheels, discs, pads and hoses (about £1000) and that's where the problem starts
And someone who will put then on the car for me...

OK, in that case, I am going to put a time limit on for the first batch. I am going to set a closing date for the first batch as 9th July (2 weeks today). If we have five people confirmed (and ready to pay) on that date then we will press on with the ordering. If not, I will leave the group buy available for longer.

I don't think I can be fairer than that really ...
(sorry Marcin, but this is going to be really difficult to coordinate unless I put an initial stake in the ground)

So, can anyone on the list please say "CONFIRMED" if they are good to go on the 9th July. I will put apeman69 down as confirmed as he has already said that he is good for payment.

I think what you are saying is fair and I can't disagree with it.
But looking at the first page we have interest in around 14 sets so maybe we can split them into two separate batches?
If that is not possible, I will go for 9th July as well.

Can everybody comment when they need their discs please.
If we got 5 ASAP and 5 (or more) LATER (say next month) than maybe we can split the orders Wayne?

Marcin, I am counting each person as one order, not each set as one order. So, we need at least five people confirmed for the 9th July to place an order.

I have no problem with doing one order this month and one next month if we have enough people interested.

OK, I have got some answers for you Mike.

1. Yes, they can send out orders VAT free to Jersey.
2. If it is brake pads, then the postage costs are the same as UK. If it is discs, then there would be a further £8.99 to pay on top of the UK shipping prices.

Here's some additional information on the shipping costs:

"Mainland UK delivery is £10 for discs. Front AND rears can normally be dispatched together for the same price and have pads slipped in too i.e. Front and Rear discs, and Front and Rear pads all in the same carton for £10 delivery. However the Brembo discs are probably pushing the 30kg weight limit- ...

Pads would be sent at cost via 1st Class mail with session ID proof of postage- depends on what pads are purchased, but as a rough guide, front pads would be about £5- £6, rear pads £3- £4 per axle set."
