Solid front and rear engine mounts

Can anyone give me a good reason not to go down this road? This is important for me as i can't really allow my motor to move front to back, well i can, but f all.

Extra vibration is presumably a reason not to I guess.

Anyway, are you going down the solid mount route. Or do you plan to get Pitstop or similar to inject your existing mounts with polyurethane?

Ryan, good guess, yeah i don't have much room between the exhaust housing of the rear turbo and the firewall and i'd rather not modify my firewall, plus if i have solid mounts i won't lose the energy which is used to make the motor rock maybe?

Kenneth made mounts for his car, from Polyurethane I think.

Yeah, only did the front mount though.

Quite an increase in vibration as a result however nothing I couldn't live with.

Solid mounts will probably result in much more vibration, it'll be up to you if you can deal with it or not.
