so i see at least one of you made it back! how was it?
I'm in Whakatane. The weather wasn't bad at all really, just solid rain, flicked between intermittant and (I) on the wipers most of the time. Took 45 minutes from Rotorua to Whakatane, and about 40 minutes from Taupo to Rotorua

Some may remember, I killed a sparrow on the Wellsford run.
This time I think I killed a rather large bird, it looks like a large seagull

Hmm, I did notice a bird carcass at the side of the road. It also did appear to have suffered grievous harm so yes, that possibly could have been it!
Have had to pry dead sparrows from out of my grill before
