whats that mean???
i no nothing about these cars yet.
only had her 2 weeks lol
i means there are only 3 coils in the firing order but each spark goes to two cylinders at once.
however one of them has no fuel (is on the exhaust stroke) therefore the spark fires in the cylinder but does nothing and is therefore wasted
'97 EVO 4 GSR
the front bank has 3 coils on it , mount on top of the front plugs
when the front plugs fire it also fire the back plug at the same time , as only one plug is being fired to exploded the fuel the other plug fired is a wasted spark , hence it is called a wasted spark
As above
1 question... ??
If you have only had the car 2 weeks and you nothing about these cars !!
Why on earth do you want launch control ??
... and launch control on 4wd seems really over the top!

Dis agree LC is good on 4wd , I have it , but you need a manual box for LC

i think the original poster means,
in an auto when you stand on the break, build revs to 3K and take you foot of the brake whilst planting your right foot to the floor.
Not a proper system.
i wouldn't really recomend this on a regular basis as you are winding up the torque converter and transmission. which after a while will make things go bang.

and wen it does launch it throws u right into ur seat
if i was to do this whilst in neutral and then knock into drive wot wud the results be or am i guessing right with a new box???
Putting the car in drive from neutral whilst giving gas will either move you very quickly forwards or destroy the torque converter/gearbox. Let me know!
The way that those on here do launch is to hold your left foot on the footbrake, put the car in drive, smack your right foot down on the fast pedal and release the brake at 2000 rpm. The higher the revs, the harder the launch. The harder the launch, the more chance of killing something. Be aware that this puts an incredible strain on the torque converter and cooks your ATF.
in other words stay clear lol
