id say its safe to say that smash and grabs are ALOT more common than cars actually getting stolen.
its usually just little ****s whos parent dont give a **** about them because they are too busy bludging off the dole and getting wasted. so the kids are out wondering the streets smashing windows. mine got broken into and nothing was taken
I heard it was pretty easy to steal wheels and ipods though

interesting, the stats from statistics NZ has NZ at 15 thefts per 1000 so 1.5%, USA has on average 3.6%, I couldn't find Australia's, more interesting is that car theft in the USA is on the decrease while NZ is on the increase...Originally Posted by Ingletor
