auto transmission problem

my 96 legnum vr4 transmission is going into saftey mode when the speedo wire is connected this gearbox has been reconditioned.. What should I do??
PLEASE HELP!

I'd guess a sensor isn't working properly or something similar like that. Take it to mitsi and get them to diagnose it.

Ok, Think I will do that some time soon..... First I'm gonna try replacing all the sensors from my old gear box to my new gearbox. All so when the Speedo wire is plugged in the gearbox will keep changing gear then it go's into safety mode. thanks for your reply

I had a similar problem.. When I had my transmission totally rebuilt, it was still going into LIMP MODE. So we scanned it again and found out that the INPUT SPEED SENSOR was going haywire....We changed it and now everything is A - OK
