How did the 'weather bomb affect you?

    Hi guys

Did any of you have any bad experiences with the huge storm over the weekend?

In Rotorua where I was, there was heavy rain on Sat, gale force wind overnight - from about 3am to 5am and fine weather thru Sunday. No power outages or anything like that, though my 3G broadband Vodem wasn't getting a signal so resorted to dialup.

tbh i was disappointed as hell with the storm - they made it out it was going to be much worse than it actually was.

Yeah so there was some rain - big swells in the harbour - bit of flooding but come on - tornados, twisters, fork lighting - thats a storm

yeah there was nothing, rain throughout the journey, but nothing hard enough to actually adjust driving styles for (although I ran away from Jan )

The only thing that annoyed me about it was that it freaked out a lot of the members and so few people turned up!

Yeah, have to say the Wellie guys in particular were spooked.

Didn't see the point of chasing after you - I already know a standard car isn't going to be anywhere near as fast as you. Things will be different when I buy an M5 though!
