    18" alloys pcd fitment

    Helllllo!!

I'm after a set of 18" rims for my Galant V6 Sport on a W plate and want to know if this size, 8J X 18" 4X114 ET40 fitted with 225/40/18 tyres, will fit the galant without any trouble, eg arch rubbing.

The car has not been lowerd yet, but will be next on the list.

    Cheers

    Wannis

You should be okay with that. I'm not guaranteeing anything, but if it was my gamble, I'd take it.

i have 225/40/18 on a VR4 and beleive the suspension setup is the same as yours.

However it is the offset you need to worry about on the fitting/rubbing, i am not going to be very hepful here as i can't remember what my offset is. It is on one of the wheel size threads on here which i could find if necessary.

35mm offset rings a bell but then so does 30mm. but ithink 35mm is more like it.

Yep fornd it he is the link i was looking for mine are +35mm.

Yeah you'll be fine with that. 40mm offset with that size will clear the suspension and the wheel arches
