Centre Console Black Cubby

Has anybody removed the black storage cubby for the centre console on their car. I'm gonna install a 7" motorised head unit and want to swap the place where the headunti currently is with the black cubby which currently sits below it. (so when i have my screen open I am not blocking vents and all the ehater controls)
Anybody rmemved one before? I've checked the resource library and only find how to remove the centre console.

Yep - I have as I've two separate DIN stereos in - headunit and graphic EQ...

Have a deeper hunt in the resource library - Keiran wrote something that I used when I first dismantled my centre consoul and it shows all the screws and the bolt / screws that hold the black cubby holder in place...

As far as I remember I think it was replacing the centre consol's gear leaver surround that Keiran did.

just take off facia panel and the cubby can be swapped about to top or bottom.
as the radio can be bolted into both positions
