    Question Wheel Arch Extension Fixings

I noticed the other day that the back lower part of my rear right arch extension was looking a bit "funky". A closer look revealed it was totally loose, the fixing appears to have sheared, and you can pull about 1/4 of the arch extension away from the car

Does anyone know what these things are attached with, whether you can get replacement fixings, and how easy it is to remove/reattach them?

    Cheers!

BTW, just uploaded a couple of new gallery pics now I've got the Tein Super Wagons and Evo 9 alloys fitted!

My drivers side one is broken in the same way, I've tried gluing it and it has just come undone. Can't really be bothered fixing it until I get the EVO 5/6 rear arches fitted.

If they are original equipment, then they have the same sort of fixings as the door cards (plus on the rear I think there may be a rivet or two) So if the stud has broken - no real biggie. If it's the plastic grip for the stud in the extension - not a lot you can do apart from glue it back. Trouble is, to find out, you'll probably need to remove the extension and that would involve drilling the rivets if they're there. The front ones are the same except that they use the same bolt as the wheel arch liner rather than a rivet.

I paid through the nose for mine from Mitsi. They will not fit in the same manner unless you're very brave and drill holes in your arches. Bonding is the better option. Also the front bumper is different so they won't fit up there quite so well. Not sure about the sills either, whether they will meet up ok or not.
