Very nice... You have probably made a lot of members quite jealous - Facelift, silver and it's got the subtle Recaro kit! Very nice indeed!

i second that, nnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.
Bye for Now!
Anthony, yes its a UK car and as Kieran commented its a very nice car...
I did have a shopping list of desirable items, the spec that I wanted...
hoping for unmodified and unaltered...
...and this car came out of nowhere at a countryside dealer in Lincs and I just had to have it...
...unmodified and unaltered AFAIK, and with a few more things such as sunroof (moonroof - tilt and slide), carry net in the boot, boot liner plus Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser as bonus items

Oh and stop posting bl00dy track days in November - Heath has a big birthday to save for!!!
Take care,

Cannot a 'newbie' have a short memory....
...and sorry for my exuberance upon my return...
...I do not want to kybosh any birthday saving plans but who is going to be 30?!
...Oh and I remember that day, 30, just a FEW years ago...
Does a newbie get a keyring/sticker/cuddly toy/Ring tkt when he finally gets a vr-4?
LOL - ok, as a 'newbie', I'll forgive your 'exuberance'Originally Posted by chris g
Sadly, my 30 has been and long gone but there is no reason I can't expect a decent celebration for the next biggy
Still, as our ould VR4 is never going back to Germany, I look forward to taking some piccies of yours

Thank you for your forgiveness
Between one 'oldie' and an 'even older'
So it must 35 for your next 'biggie'?
And I read of the old VR-4's demise, sad days
Will look fwd to some of your good pictures from the next time your RWD meets my 4WD
When will that be...?
That I will also look forward to - one day I must get a pax lap with you!Originally Posted by chris g
Mm, not sure, I guess next Easter is a given but we might - possibly - maybe - go back later this year
See what you started
Behave,

As I posted before, it will be Trax w/e when I get to the Eiffel and then I hope a wet w/e in Oct...
...as a newbie with my new vr-4 and some new Vredstein Winter Extreme...
Well, we definitely won't see you there this year, 'cos if we were to happen to go in October, we would only be going on a dry weekendOriginally Posted by chris g
So I guess we'll see you next Easter then?

Here you are Pete, made-to-measure.
You can book the weather for a trip in the Toyota....?
Well, we've managed so far - admittedly, we have asked for recent trips - sun, sun, hail, snow, snow, rain, rain and massive closures - but that is exactly how it has worked outOriginally Posted by chris g
So - when 'may' you be going in October ?

i have to agree with himOriginally Posted by chris g
Thanks Anthony - struck lucky finding the car, perhaps as we all do at such moments, we look, we wait, and then its there the car for us - right condition and spec
Probable Oct trip - 18,19 and 20 - travel out Saturday for half day on track then all day Sunday and half day Monday - then home on Tuesday - a bit of a plan developing now I have the car!!!
Assuming I have the dates correct - visited the official website, been there lately?
Intro with music and some good video footage of the NS
Anyway did not write dates down and have lost my printout of NS dates n times - relying on memory of using that timetable thing you have that if you are not careful choosing dates you can end up checking for the year 2012 or some other distant part of the future..
So, Oct at the Ring with this newbie, anyone...?
There you are Kieran I have asked that question, sort of...
Oh really? Then I guess we 'may' see you there after allOriginally Posted by chris g
But only if its dry

Damn, that means I will have to take semi-slicks as well as the wet tyres if you cannot be certain with your weather request...
...cannot rely on Toyota owners!!!
that does look really nice, the suede recaro's, moon roof, etc etc. Pity about the gearbox though
