Cheers K,
Got a few pics of the underside, doesnt look too bad from a rust point of view. Nothing an underseal wont cure? Am slightly concerned at the scrathces on the roof to rear. these will take some polishing out? Don ? K? What ya reckon?
Hard to say from the pictures, but those scratches look beyond polishing, although it will mask them a bit.
As a rule of thumb, if you can catch a fingernail in the scratch it's too deep to fully polish out.
To me those look like they may be from a branch or something like that ,and they do look far too deep to be polished out as Throbbe says

That said, Don's done some pretty impressive scratch repairs in the past, so he might be able to help you if you go for it.
Well another Mitsubishi can be added to my long list of Mitsubishi ownership!
50k on the clock, little rust underneath, bits that there will soon brush off with a wire brush.
Vibration issue is okay but am sure within a week ill have it in the garage to be sorted. Slight oil leak which i will have the garage look at.
Had a nice cruise back from Bury this afternoon. It sits nice and easy at 70mph on motorway. Bit slow to go and you can hear the turbo huffin and puffing away!
Will post some pics tomorrow before i start on all the little bits and pieces that need doing on it.
Then to find some MUD!

So, You're in the Legnum and your better half will be the wingman in the Delica at JAE?
She has already said she wants to go in the Delica for its sleeping capacity!! I on the other hand will insist on the Leggie! Though i do need to get my act sorted, fit this Fuji exhaust and look at slotted discs before Silverstone!!Originally Posted by Kieran

I couldn't tell from previous posts, but what model was it you bought? Dying to know ~ those wacky Japs and their crazy model names always entertain me. "L300 Star Wagon GLX Royal Exceed Crystal Lite Aero High Roof", etc etc etc.

'03 Seat Arosa 1.4TDi S (mpg spreadsheet)
ex-'94M Mitsubishi Galant Sports GT 2.0 V6 biturbo (R.I.P.)
its a top spec one
L300 Star Wagon Super Exceed Turbo
Its got the crystal lite roof and so many gizmos and gadgets in the back. for example.
Crystal Lite roof, yup its the high roof its cool but even cooler that it has electronic blinds for every single one!
Rear Mood lighting! Have yet to try that out!!!!!(im keeping that as a surprise)
Its got some kind of intercom/speaker setup so presumable everyone in the back can talk to the driver!!!!
Rear A/C and heaters
built in cool/ice box
Two captains chairs, all seats and trim are in a lush velour with 'Super Exceed' stiched into all chairs!
And just tonight discovered its got some sort of side light/beam system that comes on every time you signal!! i presume so you can see around the corner! I have been puzzled since i bought it, as i kept getting the feeling that every time i exited a corner a street light went out.

But yeah, who needs a tent when you've got a Delica! I was showing the vids on Youtube of that L400 going down a rock staircase! She was impressed, but perhaps not enough to rush out and buy one in her lunch break...

It's a Bus O'Cool alright! Paint it green and call it the Mystery Machine!
just found out this stereo kit in the rear is a factory optional extra......wait for it........KARAOKE for the passengers to sing along to. Damn i need the original head unit back. WHAT an option
You could make that work with a different head unit..might need an external amp too. I couldn't own a delicia without putting a multimedia system in it, though.........
