LoL - ja that was me. Without writing a novel (and it is tempting to) he implied that anyone who displayed the old SA'n flag did so out of some sort of racial motivation.
I only had like two hundred words or something to respond with so that explains the brevity of the response.
mmmm, what would it make me if I flew the current Zimbabwe flag ! ?

stupid?
Actually, if I flew the current South African flag, it would mean I believed in:
20 000 murders a year,
corruption and bribery as a way of life,
600 murdered Motorists in Hi-jackings every year,
Blatant disregard for road safety. (10 000 die every year).
etc...
Of course apartheid was wrong, but what the govt there are doing now, (nothing), is worse.
Martiny: Regardless of what it "makes you" or the reasons you display that flag - it's something that you choose to do. It's not harming me or infringing on my freedom to choose. Too many countries deny their citizens that right (freedom of choice).
Personally speaking I think it's one of the last freedoms we have left, before the various world governments ... start choosing our freedom.
