Bought a Mazda 6 !

Wife spotted a Mazda 6 for £2995 in Autotrader. 112K miles, full service history, 20 Petrol, climate control, sunroof, Satnav, etc.

Its in very good condition for the mileage.

So we hopped in the Legnum and drove from Surrey to Sheffield to go and collect it. She is chuffed, and I think its a good price for how much car there is!

I will post up some pics soon, its the dark metallic blue colour.

Now, anyone want to buy an MX-5 ?

tis a 5 door hatchback, TS ( havent even found out what that means yet!)

great cars, i'd have the 143bhp diesel ts2 out of any of them.

the ts, ts2 and sport are the spec levels.

the ts is the bottom of the range, which means it has just about everything except leather
the ts2 is the same but with the bose stereo and optional leather.
the sport has the bose stereo the leather the body kit and xenon headlights, oh and 17" alloys

Ah, must be TS2- it has the Bose, and no leather (prefer cloth anyway!)

shame, the diesels a peach, cruising at 50 in my dads mazda 5 and its doing 100mpg 33 mph is a slow as it will go in 6th and then it will pull away without a murmor, i belive his average is 59mpg that includes a lot of short local runs and towing a hoofin great caravan to france, and trust me he ain't slow about it

mazda 5 is the euro mpv aye? we dont get that but we get the cx7.

Yep the MPV is called Mazda 5 here.

yeh the 5 is the mpv thing, its based on the new focus floor pan but streched a bit so it handles really well for a bus

we also get the cx7, i still havn't decided if i like it yet though, and you don't see many on the roads either

Mazda 6 MPS now that really is a wolf in sheeps clothing,about 260BHP if i am not mistaken and doesn't look that much different to a standard 6.

If i was on the look out for a new car it would have to be one of them i would test drive.

Around 3K. 1992, Type R. Replacement engine has 30K miles. Relatively unmodified, in Red.
