Hi everyone.

43,500 miles, Silver, 2002 CiViC Type R iVTEC.Stunning example of a pre-facelift. This honda is in exceptional condition. 1 previous owner with SH,Super-Guard. I myself have owned this vehicle for last 3 years (24000miles when acquired). The car comes fitted with Tein Super street, fully adjustable coilovers. 4 x 18" Ultralite G-Grid Zero's (Bronze) dressed in full tread Yokohama Prada Spec II's. Having covered very little use in the last 18 months since fitment of the suspension / Professional geometry setup for Fast Road at ABP Motorsport in Crewe. Although this vehicle has not got the FHSH it has always been meticulously maintained at reputable independant garages. And all work carried out i have reciepts.

Car was lease plan (Previous owner) Full Service history. Upto 24k Miles.
Serviced at car people before collection when i purchased it 24k. .
32k Service at Alexandra Motorsport
38k Service and geometry setup as detailed at ABP Motorsport (New Honda clutch fitted !) Bearing was dry Plates were ok. I have old one to verify this. Current MOT 6 months, TAX expires 31/10 and the vehicle is HPi clear.

All in all this is a dream car to drive and rather a speciality to an enthusiast. The only reason for sale is that we need a bigger car. This car will be sadly missed. No testpilots please ths is a serious car and only serious offers concidered.

A quick update. The car is on both the trader and Piston heads at a price of 7495. To be fair i have now ammended my prices and the club owners price on here, club vr4 and on the uk civic type r owners its £6995.

A few questions in the form of a bump.

Whats it like on the jungle juice, realisticly?
Does it need to run on Super?
What are the major service intervals? (belts/plugs etc)

okies thanks for your response. To answer your questions ! jungle juice is up and down. The car has 6 gears and you can get 28-34 mpg even more on a run. But to achieve this you have to drive in what i call economy mode (Using all 6 gears). If you drive the car as it has been designed and use the vtec the car will do as little as 12mpg. I can demo what i mean ! Just driving round at 35 in 6th beats the hell outa driving in 3rd @ 5700 rpm on vtec. To vtec in 6th you have to be doing 118 mph. Hope you get the jist of this. Because having a 6th gear doing 35 is great for high mpg ;-)

As for the super question. Hmm easy answer it will run on normal unleaded, but you can tell the difference if you use higher ron. I would say at times weather dependant you could be looking at a difference of 10bhp loss for not using 98ron or higher. Plus it a completely different drive on optimax. Truly outstanding the difference.

The servicing question its every 12,500 miles (I'd say average £280 per service). Timing belt 58000 ! valve clearances have to be done too at around 38000.
