    After Market Oil cooler

I have just purchased a 13 fin oil cooler with pipes, thermostat sandwich plate, etc.Where has everyone mounted theirs? I've done a search but when you use the word 'oil' near enough all threads are show.I'll keep searching but if anyone has a good location then please share.

    Thanks

    Paul

Mine's also behind the grill on the left hand side. It was slightly further back originaly (when i had aircon), but now its where the aircon rad was so as i can fit push fans on the radiator

I went to fit it a couple of weeks ago. Mitsubishi have made the oil filter longer so when the sandwhich plate was in place the oil filter would of been one of the lowest points.I have put fitting back until i'm in the uk and have found a solution.

Paul C, Have you considered a oilfilter relocationkit? I have one on mine. That way I could fit 2* TD04s

It has crossed my mind, my problem is i am too impatient. I only have 2 weeks at a time in the uk to do what I want to the vr4. I never have these great ideas untill i'm sat at home and then i try to buy every thing off the shelf.

You can buy the Greddy kit that i have off the shelf. Get it from RHD, its not cheap, but its a direct no messing about fit, and relocates the filter to the n/s wing
