1. the pre order step is just to reserve the pipes and no payment is made at this time.
- This is correct it is only a pre order - although when placing hte order please state at the end of the order, that you are part of the UK Group Buy
2. If the invoice is more than we have been led to believe then you don't have to carry on with the purchase.
You can pull out if you want to, but if people do, then the numbers may fall low and stop the deal from happening.
Its basically up to you, the club to decide when you want to the deal to end. I will send over whatever number of pipes you want, the min number is 5 to make it worthwhile to send on sea freight economically.

Another Q's Dave. What happens in the event of a fault with one of the pipes in terms of who bears the cost of return and replacement if there is a problem at the fitting stage and say something go's wrong within the warranty period.
Pre-order complete
yes i assumed it was $391 NZD when it was $391 AUD which works out at £167.29
sorry for any mix up.
is duty and taxes that much John, wow that is a lot. i take it that £570 is split between 13 people plus the £200 p+p split between 13 people.
Bye for Now!
Yep thats the score Dave split between all parties , but it all depends on the cost of the goods
Also payment is as soon as the goods hit HMRC so Peter would need that upfront so he could pay it
import duty at 10% and vat @ 17.5% , plus an admin fee / handling fee
Cross that bridge when they hit the UK, but all agree that we get the money to Peter within 24hrs say???
With regards to warranty, in the rare cases of no fitment, we refund monies for the items and negotiate on freight charges. We don't as a normal rule, cover the cost of freight.
In one of the few cases we sent the customer another set, or had them repaired locally and paid for the repair work on some extractors that had a leak on a weld.
I am sure over the next few weeks if you track the australian VR4 forums, you will here from other people fitting these now which will help with making up your minds.

Guys, is there a cut-off date for when this needs to be completed? I'm interested in this buy, but the cash flow is a little tight until the first week of Dec and its not clear when I have to forward the £££s to Peter.
I take it I can make the 'pre-order' now and forward the money at a later date to Peter? But when do you anticipate needing the money by?
