    Unhappy 'hesitating' at low speeds

    Guys,
I suspect I already know the answer to this one, but:

When driving an manuvering speeds (into garage, 3-point turns, reversing onto driveway etc) the car is 'pausing'...trying to stall.
If it was a manual, it would be as though you were letting the clutch up without enough revs. As it is, the car 'pulses' forward...like there is a little slip on/off in the transmission.

I'm hoping you're going to tell me that it's time I changed my ATF (it's definitely overdue now anyway, but I was holding off until January when I have some time off - it doesn't do that many miles).

Do these symptoms fit? It seems fine under normal driving conditions.

    Ta muchly.

Incorrect level can also make the car 'bog' as well. Could also be worth just giving the Idle stepper a cleanout, but yeah... Especially if it doesn't miss on feather throttle in neutral.

What's it like if you put the gearbox into tip and use the override to move off in 2nd? If that's just as bad or even worse then yeah, It'd be worth checking the ATF level and condition using a bit of paper.
