Those wheels are perfection. Wish I could find some at the right price.

Unfortunatly I then had to spend another £420 on rubber.
However going from Jap winter tyres on 16" rims to proper tyres on the Evo 9's it now handles and grips like it should, no more hanging the back end out round roundabouts.
The only problem with that is as im now travelling much faster I have kinda discovered that my standard pads on standard disks, even though excellent, are not really up to the job of stopping the car .
.... have to get something sorted before Combe..
Although I really should be concentrating on getting the Ganador mirrors on, the new splitters, fixing the passenger side skirt, wings arch extension etc etc.....
hey ho its all fun I spose
Splitters fitted to check the fit before I strip the front end off later this week so it can go to the bodyshop

That looks like the tiniest corner of the Scottich Wagon of C*ck on the drive, but isn't that in mothballs in Scotland now?
Or more likely, it's something else completely different...

Looking good, not digging the facelift grill though, needs a pfl grill
Cibies look awfull though, dont suit the car, infact I will do you a massive favour and take them off your hands for £50
This is going to be an evil looking leggy
.
The facelift grill in my opinion fits in really well with the cibies and the facelift bonnet.
Ill try and get a picture from side on to show what i mean.
And I have a preface grill, its sitting down the farm surplus to requirements
i haven't tried my facelift grille on with the pre bumper but that looks good to me
Aesthetically the grille looks fine (not really that different to PFL apart from the big lip at the bottom) but the photo makes it look like the lip is sticking up into the air a bit? Does it need heating up and folding down a little, or is it the light...or is it me?

Its caused by two pieces of plastic underneath the grill that normally slot into corresponding slots on a facelift bumper.
These slots are not fitted on the prefacelift.

Telll you what I will give you a final offer, £45 for teh cibies, they just dont look at all good on your car, even at £45 I feel I would be paying to much to take these of your hands
No I tell you what.Originally Posted by pitslayer
You make copies of those splitters you have and start selling them at a cheap price so people like me don't have to hunt for years to try and find some that fit and end up having to pay a bloody fortune for them and buying them from Timbuktu.
And you can have the cibies for £1200. And thats my final offer .
I actually have been tempted to get a set made up, seeing the trouble you had to go through to get them, if they ever get smashed up I can have spares, hmmm wonder if it is worth seeing if others maybe interested and how much it would cost
Pits, do it straightaway! id be interested in a set. Good body shops/fibreglass should be able to create a mould very easily
Still here somewhere........
Agreed, I personally wouldn't have them, but I suspect a lot of people would beat a path to your door.
Don, what are the cibies like to clean? Last set of sculpted lights I had were an aerodynamic nightmare: picked up every stone and bit of dirt and trapped them. They also retained water behind the light lenses...which after washing, and squirting the airline in there, should have gone, but would still reappear as a dirty grey runnel as soon as I moved the car.
I bet the light they give is masses better, though!

Looking good Don - Seeing as they're not needed, could you file down the plastic notches on the grille to make it sit against the bumper correctly?
Hope you don't mind i have copied the pics in this thread into another which is about getting some super bumper splitter made up in fibre glass.Originally Posted by AncientOfMu
They are very good pics and could ask for more.
noticed this thread is in a public area so thought you wouldn't mind.
let me know if you want me to remove the pics and i will.
Bye for Now!
Don, when it goes in the bodyshop are you having the whole car blown in or just the repaired bits?
