Mitsi would be your best bet.

I have priced it up against Recpo etc and is very similar priced.... Our guys down here will sell an aftermarket part(usually the same as from repco, and usually cheaper) if the genuine is expensive...

Hmm, I've always had the impression that the local Mitsi dealer here in Christchurch (Donnithorne Smith) is expensive. I guess I should go have a look then rather than rely on rumour.

    You mean Donnithorne Simms

I used to work there, my old man still does.
And yes they are relatively expensive, they have their own mark ups on parts they get from places like BNT.

Let me know what you need, I might be able to get some parts a lil cheaper

I think it was too tight, so it run a bearing (not sure which one yet) and slipped a tooth on one of the heads, so its not running smooth at all, and there's a high pitch whistle coming from the bearing.

The water pump is also leaking again and I think I need to flush the radiator out after the blown gaskets from last time. Joy!

Did you not do your water pump when you done your cam belt?
Yer BNT would be my bet. I also like to shop around as well. Cost nothing to get a price

I did the water pump just recently, but stupidly (I think) didn't do the timing belt etc at the same time, as the dealer told me they'd done them just before I bought the car (it was one of the conditions of sale). I'm pretty sure they did a half assed effort if at all.
