"Coughing" car / warm engine

Hi,

My car is "coughing/jumping" (difficult to describe) after I change gear. It only happen when I have been driving for a while and the engine is warm. It happens mpst of the time after I pass the 2 nd and the 3rd gear. Looks like I do not put enough gas and the rev are not high enough. I know it is not that as it does not do it when the engine is cold. Could it be a problem with one of the turbos?

Does it happen at about 4000 rpm when your foot is hard on the go pedal?

not necessarily. it is usually from the low end rev.

Hmm on mine the revs jump after i let off and go to change gear....but only if i use the turbos...i'e boost it.

noise only or does th car have: loss of power, a judder, anything along thoughs lines? or is it just noise, could be you bov giving up the ghost.......... do you have a standard or aftermarket exhaust??
