You learn something everyday. That would certainly make the run worth it.

Could do with a good blast out in the car and get away for a weekend to clear the christmas blues away.

Have to see whats happning a little closer to time.

Probably stay over in Carlisle.

This sounded perfect for my first chance to meet everyone and get some mountainbiking with some new faces, the VR4 is the new adventure racers car of choice, but..... myself and the VR4 are at a Boatshow in Galway that day so unless there is a general feeling that teh West of Ireland is an equally good spot for the Meet then I will have to wait.

I Like the idea of combining meets with other activities/events so if I am venturing anywhere I will post it up and something can grow from it or not.

That will be good, we sometimes do up to Carron Valley for a bit of fresh air between DIY tasks. Now I see your signature line I should have known, shouldn't hi-jack this thread so I will message you if we are going out and please do likewise as a bit of motivation is sometimes required to get off my ass.

as you may have heard the car i won and was waiting on delivery has been sold to justjon not his fault but if i dont have a legnum before the 28th feb i will still come along and meet you guys so count me in still.

My Vr4 is still up for sale but only for next 3-4 weeks and if not sold ill keep it, so ill more than likely still have it by the meet It was the talk of toffee that got me interested Erm anyone bringing their other half? Ill be bringing mine if im coming.....country roads are not my thing....... but im learning!!

so as I mentioned the chance to get away for a weekend, after xmas, and toffee, Mrs Forge was a defo.

28th is free for me so as I say it will be a good blast. Ill just hold myself on reserve until a few days before.

I spoke to UnclePete about this a couple of days ago - we are closer to a Yes, but need to sort logistics out - think we will be trying to make a weekend of it so will need overnight for 2 couple and 1 with small child - we will also try and get down to Drumlanrig and spend the Saturday mountain biking there...so we are closer to yes but need some final tweaks to make sure we are definites...

Yes thats the day of the meet but there's no time or location sorted yet.
