    boost controller

    Hi Guys.
Going 2 fit my boost gauge this weekend (about time Had it over a month)
I also have a MBC ball & spring boost controller.
Been looking through the threads & cant fined what I'm looking for.
Is there any pics of anyone fitting one of these cause I'm not sure what pipes to cut?
It has 2 connections on it one to boost source & one 2 wastegate actuator.
    Any help would be great

Have a look at this boost gauge article:

    http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19501

The fifth picture shows a close-up of the air intake, taken from the nearside of the engine bay.

Anyway, ignore the arrows, as it's for a boost gauge install, but the pipe you want to cut is the red-tipped one that goes to the air intake, held on with a spring clip (just below dead center of the picture). Boost source is the air intake, and the wastegate actuator is the other way!

You may find it easier from an access point of view to remove the bolt at the top of the picture holding the two electrical connectors, as this gives a little more room.

    Hope that helps!

EDIT: Cheers Derek, I couldn't find the MBC article , even though I only posted on there a few weeks ago!
