Simon and I attended a rolling road event today with a local Jap club.

Here are the results:

Pete:

Max BHP - 303 @ 5950rpm (260Ps ECU)
Torque - 293 lb/ft
Boost - 0.92 max reached (so still more available :-D )
Max Speed - 160mph (on the clock verified by the tester and onlookers)#

Simon:

Max BHP - 268 @ 5750 (280Ps ECU)
Torque - 260 lb/ft
Boost - standard
Max Speed - 160+ (again verified)

Top car of the day was a Nissan 200SX (S13) that Mr Simon Norris has had his sticky fingers on - 437bhp !

Mentioned to BDA earlier, if I can get my hands on a facelift ecu then maybe I can push 320+ with no further mods ?

Can I take it that was an exhaust extractor on your cars , & also, they seemed to take your cars to the limit very slowly ?? At well lane, It was 4 or 5 'runs' taken through the gears very quickly !!

one slow run at 45mph then......shifted through the gears to fifth at about 2500rpm then let the car work its way up slowly, then spead up at the end.......seemed forever! :eek:

Even better - wouldn't the 278 be divided by 5. ? as surely the 6th pot would be assisting in some way and not be completely dead ?
