If your speedo moves but your car doesn't then it could be output shaft or transfer box. If your speedo does not move with the car in D and a few revs then it is the gearbox or torque convertor.

I'm sorry - I don't know anyone with a gearbox at the moment. Mo (zedy1 on here) could be your best bet.

I have spoke to Zedy, he says he has all the parts, hence whatever it is he can fix.

As a thought, with different people wanting a manual, should anyone want a manual, is now the time to shout.

I have to put a gearbox in, is there any difference?

Obviously inside, as I have the tip gear stick, and a nice chrome surround!

It's a much bigger job to make it manual. And the parts will cost more to source.

I wouldn't spend the money on that if you just want to sell, unless someone pays a deposit for the end result!
