Age of Legnum owners!

As well as the legnum I have a mk1 clio 1.8 16v I use for track days and have been a regular user to a couple of clio related forums, having looked into the ages of people on the club most of them appear to be under the age of 20 which would be about right for a small hatchback.
So what age range does the Legnum attract then? I'm 27 and most of my friends have never even heard of a Legnum, never mind thought of buying one!

Historically, especially when it was a lot newer, I would have thought the average age would have been around 35 or so.

As the VR-4 is getting much cheaper, we are seeing members somewhat younger joining - and many of the new members probably fall in the band 20-25.

My insurance when i first got my leggie(my first vr4) was actually not much more than the AE111 levin I had before it....

Go figure a 280bhp 2.5 v6 twin turbo is cheaper to insure than a 170bhp 1.8 n/a vtec!!!!

I think it has more to do with the fact that the Honda is more likely to be stolen, hence the higher premium.

For example, in South Africa it's more expensive to insure a CitiGolf than it is a fully imported Renault sedan for this reason.
