OK! OK! So I'm a tad over 58 going on 40! Can I help it if these anniversaries keep coming round so quickly
Cheers for the heads up, although having seen both routes (expensively!) I'm generally of the opinion that engine swaps are the way forward for NA tuning as far as bang per buck goes.Originally Posted by Turbo_Steve
Definately agreed on handling/brakes, although this time around I'm finally going to listen to my own advice and spend my tuning money on the nut behind the wheel.

Currently 28. First read about the VR4 when I was 20, but they were new then so were out of the question, and overpriced IMHO!
Possibly the only former owner of Black Legnum VR4 with Manual shift & Moonroof who now owns a Hamilton Silver Galant.

31 here, and 31 when i got my Legnum.
Having been banned when i was 22 for going a bit too fast in my Golf GTi, i didn't have a car at all for years.
This time last year i decided that now i'm over 30 and my ban was off my license i can afford to get (and insure) something i'll actually enjoy.
I had a few things to consider, must be big enough for family camping trips, must have space for dog, must be over 250bhp
It didn't take long to come to a decision!
So its definitely not an exclusive car to the more mature driver!
I think the vr4 certainly has a greater attraction than a bodykitted hatch, certainly puts a bigger smile on your face.
38 this year
Don't feel like...
Im 34.
61 going on 62 if the truth be known.
Bought my first legnum aged 59 + I now have 3.

when the time came to get a new car I decided to get something fast but had to get wife & 3 kids in it so it was the perfect excuse to get the leggy
I was 59 when I got my first one and I'm still 59 now I've sold it!...Second best car I've ever had!....I'd never heard of them until about eight years ago when one very nearly out-ran my bike in a straight line...I think the car must have been limited to 155 but Jeeze it was close!
