South/ South-East meet 2009 (gauging interest)

Seeing as the year is already running away with us I thought it would be a good idea to gauge interest in the next South/South East meet. Was thinking possibly around Easter time? I know the likes of Anthony and Peter will be turning out but it would be good if we could arrange something on a larger scale especially as not everyone is going to make it to the Eurospec RR day.
Again ideas for dates and venues are welcome and hopefully this time we will see some decent weather!
Ill start by putting myself down and ill go out on a limb and put Anthony down along with Peter. Cheers

Hi Matt the more the merrier,- even if you dont have one by then its a good opportunity to take a look round a couple and certainly get an enthusiasts view on how great they are - plus have a few jars along the way!

Tell you what Anthony that looks like a quality venue! i know of some good pubs round that way very nice little town too!

That sounds like an idea Tony, and to keep the theme going, perhaps we could follow up with a visit to Lewes and the Harveys Brewery and to keep the ladies happy, there is the Castle and other "normal" visitor attractions

Must say there are some absolutely fantastic twisties between faversham and ashford which would make the trip worthwhile! Also know of a cracking pub with a massive carpark which is nice and open to the road so passers by can have a good nose!

Having looked at Harveys Brewery in Lewes, weekend trips to there are out, cos they don't do 'em. So Dan, this pub you've found, is it worth an investigate to see if they are happy to have a car club meet there?

I shall investigate further - speaking from experience it is a very nice pub but does get extremely busy so we need to book well in advance. I wouldnt have thought they would have a problem accommodating us.
