Anyone using Google Chrome to access the site?

I can't use dropdown links, PM's or pager.

Okay, so if it worked with CVR4, it'd be cool! Incognito Mode? It's cool without me understanding it! Dynamic Tabs? Yeehaa!

    No PMs or Pager, bummer.

I've been using Chrome on CVR4 for a while now. You can get round most of those problems by memorizing some urls. Not ideal, but it saves you loading firefox/ie up.

I tried it for a while but there were just too many things that didn't work so I binned it. It definitely shows some promise though. Did you read the comic strip about it? Some of it's fairly technical but interesting if you're that way inclined: http://www.google.com/googlebooks/chrome/index.html

(As a side note, one of the reasons I tried it is cos I'd installed the IE8 beta and was having nothing but trouble with it. If you're thinking of trying it, don't! Ended up trying Firefox for the first time and I'm sold, it's brilliant!)

Chrome is a bit pre-mature release in my opinion.
Great potential but not polished yet.

Opera truly rocks! But not as good as Opera Mini on mobile devices!

    Firefox is still very good.

Chrome.....almost brilliant, but ASP support seems extremely ropey. I binned it too.

The seperate-thread-per-page idea is very very clever, though.....especially if you use a lot of tabs at once and have problems with memory hogs.

I'd have gone for it if they'd had the honesty/stones to call Incognito 'Porn Mode'.

Well, after reading this thread (and after hearing my Dad (!) mention it at Xmas) I decided see what all the fuss was about ...

Anyway ... just posted this reply using Google Chrome!

Shame about the dropdown links not working though
