    Roof racks/bars

I am waiting to check out a Legnum coming into Southampton docks which does not have a roof rack. I am thinking of buying a Legnum because my Transit is too uncomfortable over long distances but I need to take a ladder now and then and wondered if a Thule rack would fit.

Is it a DIY job to fit the roof rails if so where can I get them and how much are they?. If Halfords/Thule do a set that can be removed it may be a better option.

best bet is to find someone on here breaking a car and get a set.

    I managed - its a DIY job.

But you need to remove the roof lining, and you need to drill holes in the roof!

I guessed the headlining would have to come down is it easy and have you got any tips P.S. I have yet to buy a Legnum but am awaiting to look at one that's landing in Southampton and I've made a few offers on some advertised in the Autotrader all so far do not have the roof rails.
