RPW Downpipes UK & Europe Group buy 2

Any interest in me running a second group buy. I expect it would be along the same lines as before if Mitsiman is happy to do this as well. I can send pipes on to Europe as well if required

Are you a glutton for punishment Peter?!

Might well be interested. Can you give a ball-park figure of what the total cost to a UK buyer would be (just based on what the last lot cost would be fine)?

All in the price would be around £240. PPS iida pipes are over £500 and how much longer they will be available is debatable as other items in the VR4 range have been dropped.

If that's ok with you guys, I'll put a little add to our mitsu club about the second group buy.

Of course they have to be members to read it though....

Possibly a bit fo a daft question but would be the purpose of upgrading these pipes on my car?

I'm assuming it bolts on from the turbo pipes to the CAT or is it shorter than that? I've currently got a Blitz 3" full system on mine although where it starts I'm not sure

What sort of power gains are expected?
Honey, I never drive faster than I can see, and besides... it's all in the reflexes

Kieran , the downpipes connect to the turbos as you state and then go to the cat area .

When I had bigger downpipes on my other car they allowed the turbos to spool up sooner and faster , so you get more flow and a the boost will come in quicker

As for power differnece you may only get 5 bhp and 5ft/lbs more but the fact that you are shifting the power cuirve to the left means quite a quicker car .

These would be a good upgrade with the blitz , although you will be a little louder .

Another group buy is no problem. I have another 30 pipes due to hit my door by March 30th so that can work fine. I may have to re - evaluate pricing once I finalise the next batch but I don't forsee any major changes.

    Cheers John,

Hmmm possibly not a good idea then. The car is too loud already.

I wouldn't say mine is louder but the tone has changed and you can certainly hear the turbos .

As I have a de-cat pipe ready to fit and have now determined my exhaust is blowing near the rear axle I'm tempted to get one of these sets. Don't exactly have the finances right now but will see what the end of the month brings.

Thats fine, but doesent ansewr my question though.

I was looking for an aproximate gain for these whilst also fitting a de-cat at the same time and mapping via safc to iron out any overfuelling.

I think rpw did some dyno runs with various state of tunes didnt they? but cant seem to find them.

Would be great if you arrange another group buy. I'll take two downpipes Actually I tried to order 2 dp's from RPW few days ago but as Mitsiman told, they don't have pipes before the end of March. So this group buy fits great for me.

Oh, and seems like my CVR4 membership has expired... maybe I should renew it before the group buy

If we could start a list of interested parties to gauge numbers that would be useful. We would need a minimum of 10 as before to keep costs down.
