    Thumbs up Key Remote functions

    Hi all,
The other day i bumped into an old pal, he has a Pajero io, and it had all these fancy things to do with the remote.
    1. Lock/ unlock doors
    2. Roll up/down the windows
    3. Retract (fold) the side mirrors.

I didnt have the VR4 then, so when i got home i tried to do the same, i could only manage the first 2.

    Question is:

    1. can i retract the mirrors too.
    2. Can i close the sunroof with the remote.

properly not ........unless its been modified by an alarm company, not a standard feature.......even the windows would need an add on kit

No, you cannot do either unless you set up something yourself to do it.

Pre-facelift cars which have the key with only one button just open\close the doors, nothing else.

just got an alarm today and forgot to mention to them to include the mirrors, is it a case of just connecting a wire or is it more difficult to retract/unretract the mirrors with the alarm fob?

LOL, the key was on the balcony railing and the shoe was on the floor, like 1 meter below....
And the car is a Jap car.
