    Bump

Peter or anyone, can you please find me the correct McGard Ultra locking nuts for my PFL VR-4 and link them. They should be the right size for some EVO VI TME alloys

I've had a look on ebay but all the codes are hurting my head and there seems to be more than one option for MJ12 x 1.5

    Thanks

    Andy

I have just bought some of these from a one time only seller for £5.50 set of 4.

you just have to keep you eye open i am not garenteeing tae parts, just passing the link on you will have to ask the relivent questions if you think thesse are not the right parts fro you.

depend if you have after market wheels or not

The different part numbers are normally for different types of mating face between the nut and the wheel. A conical mating face on the nut is not what you want for a VR4/evo wheel.

Standard Evo wheel nuts are the same as standard VR4 nuts.

I don't bother with locking wheel nuts any more. Last couple of sets I had on ended up having to be ground off because they were rounded by the wheel nut spanner. Took feckin' hours to get them off

You can weld a length of steel bar onto a locking nut to remove it - have seen it done!

You can get the special reverse thread locking nut remover thing. I had to use this when the locking nut and a lot more was stolen from the old car. Works pretty well but the only downside was we had to grind the nut edges flat after in order to put it in an industrial vice and with some difficulty remove the remover before repeating the process for the other wheels.
