    Stereo Removal....How the......

ok.. we've pulled the surround round the gear stick off.. then the centre consol dash out. now the stereo... is bolted to the metal plate/bracket behind by 2 screws either side of it. i assume to get to these screws to unscrew the bracket comes out? but we cant figure out how? can someone shed any light for me? lol

The 2 brackets are held by 1 screw at the back of each bracket .Unscrew these then the brackets and stereo will lift out

    Yep - as Peter said.

The screws are bottom back of each side.

The stereo itself won't be bolted to the brackets, there'll be clips somewhere that need to be released. Once you've got the stereo out, the screws holding the brackets will be obvious.
