    1/4 Mile Database

I recon we should have it for VR4's only. Or at least have a VR4 only section.

Having an EVO or Skyline or whatever at the top seems a bit pointless.

    Does anyone agree??

Oh and should timeslips be compulsary?? I'm not saying anyone is exaggerating, but who knows??

Forgot to mention that at the weekend I ran the G-tech whilst on the strip at Santa Pod. The 2 runs that I did the G-Tech was out by 0.01 secs for both runs! Was much better that I thought it would be.

However, I did take the time to set it up to read 0.0 at the start of the run.

I do agree mat, its far too easy to buy something that isnt vr4 to sit on the top of the leaderboard. Otherwise anyone with a decent bike would be up at the top, seeing as a gsxr750 will do a 1/4 in 10.5 @142 according to book values.
Only seems fair that its for VR4's.

We've had these discussions before and I think last time we pruned the stoopid entries.

I'm not a huge fan of making timeslips compulsory, however I would like to see some kind of proof. A photo of the car crossing the line etc could be acceptable.

    m

I don't see there being a problem with making timeslips compulsory

If the Person doing the run has a achieved a time they are very happy with, i would say they would deffo be collecting there slips

And if they have collected it, then it should be easy enough to submit it ..

    I for 1 think it's a good idea

Timeslips should be compulsory IMO, and yes it should only be open to Galants and Legnums

Then there should be 3 databases..

1 for Timeslipped runs for Galant/Legnums

    2. Non timeslipped Galant/Legnums

    3. Any others timeslipped or not

Or just keep it simple and you must have a Galant/Legnum and a timeslip to post up a time - easy

I think we need a debate on whether compulsory timesheets is open for debate

    Timeslips should be compulsory, IMO.
