Still here somewhere........
I would just like to make a correction
Not just VR4's
Any Galant/ Legnum with and original Galant/Legnum engine (Modified or Not)
The reason I am not a huge fan of making timeslips compulsory is for people like, but not limited to, valmes. He has videos, photos etc of his runs, but no timeslip.
So we stop him playing our game simply because they don't have a printer at his track? Seems a bit unfair....
OK how about timeslip or alternate proof ( photo , video etc etc )

But Valmes hasn't got a car quick unuff to get onto the Leaderboard
We can look into this a bit more when the site has been migrated but it looks like you can make ETs of 11.99 or quicker to require a timeslip in the latest version of the times slips database.
Removing entries from the existing database might be difficult though as this is really down to what people have entered in their profile.
1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI Tommi Makinen Edition
would an FTO-VR4 count and what about Galant V6-24V and Galant VR4 fwd's
some people replace the turbos on the engines, I just replaced the whole car and left the engine
Richard Batty
2.5ltr V6 Turbo FTO
I think anything with a 6A13 engine should count
I think if we're going to allow anything with a 6A13 engine then we're going to need more than one table !
Only reason in my view is that Richard may run a 12 or 11 sec which will put him at the top of the table. But he's not the fastest Galant/Legnum. He's the fastest with a 6A13TT engine.
So perhaps we should have a Galant/Legnum table (bearing in mind they are all the same approximate weight, size etc)
And then have a special table for people with FTO's, or go karts with a 6A13TT engine!
And thats it. I don't really see the point in us including EVO's, Skylines, MR2's on the VR4 table as they're just not comparable.
Oh oh I did just have a thought:
If people object to having more than one table, then we could have one table with all the cars on and have it filterable so it can pick everyone in the club, or all the VR4's, or all the EVO's or at the 6A13TT derivatives etc etc. That wouldnt be too hard to code
'97 EVO 4 GSR
So i go out and buy a 6g vr4 with a 4g63 , fully rebuild it as a drag slag pushing 900+ bhp and you now saying that I can not compete in the table cos I ain;t got a 6a13 !!! , you can not just make a statement like that Brad as it rules out so many cars including the 2ltr 4potsOriginally Posted by bradc
No the rules need to be defined so that there are multiple classes and as Matt says a filter can be setup so you can eliminate the people with better cars ( evo's , Skylines , Fords) from the general view
Didn't take you long to jump fences..... Evo BoyOriginally Posted by Nutter_John

John - yes but we are an 8G VR-4 club afterall.
so the site banner and blurb about clubvr4 clearly states that we are about 8G vr4 only , no I think not
And yes Matt it did not take long for the fence to come down

I guess theres a few ways of looking at this.
Whilst Nutter or Diddington Wizard could come along with their evo's and say "oh look i've got the fastest time on the board " for example, I imagine the first question that most members will ask on here is "who has the fastest VR4 though" and more ultimately "how does my car compare to the fastest one?"
followed by the classic of "how much do I need to spend to get mine to go that quick?"
I think your all taking this way too seriously...its a table on a forum it doesnt mean anything, just leave it as it is it aint worth the hastle
Oi cheeky - weve already done an 11.09 were going for 10's this yearOriginally Posted by orionn2o

It should be ONE table with multiple fields and filters so that we can pick out exactly what we want. That would be much easier to navigate rather than having multiple tables, some that may only contain one or two cars in it.
