    what colour?

as you know iv got this color on the hearse that knowone seems to know what it is or color match it
we thought it might have been honda's pirates black pearl.....
so we compared it to a friends car in this color.
nope that wasnt it tho it was close, it has more of a red hint to it where as mine has a blue hint.....
okies it leads me to this hard choice in color choosing,
do i go for the honda black, the mitsi black orrrrrr do i go all out there an mad and go for the FORD ST ASBO ORANGE?!

i like all 3 colors an me being me (ie manily stupid) im finding myself loving the asbo orange more and more!
also i know or at least i think there isnt another galnt in the uk in that color.

    what do you all think?

I like subtle, TBH. So i'll always vote against orange. Whatever floats your boat, though!

If you car isn't black, is it finesse green? That looks black until the sun hits it.

Would be the only ESTATE in that colour?

And that guy's probably written the saloon off by now...

Mazz, if you painted your car ASBO Orange, I would refer to it as the Pure-Blood car....

Hope that helps you clairfy how it would look....

Pyreness Black? My old one was and was almost black till the sun hit it and it had some blue and some red in it. The paint code is on the VIN plate.

Lee, IIRC, the problem here is that the hearse has been resprayed black - and in an unknown shade at that!

Orange definitely won't work on an estate. Lime green would be better.....but even then I wouldn't.

How about Renualt 19 Dark Blue? Readily available and looks fantastic in the sun?
Or if you're feeling rich, you could go for Alfa Romeo's idea of a Silver /Blue paint with a gold flip: Looks silver in the dark, looks Metalic blue on a grey day and has gold highlights when the sun hits it.

I thought your virulent hatred of our pure race would have made the decision easy after my earlier comment!

I think orange would look great, but lime green could be even better.

I've often looked at my car though that really bright acid yellow, like BMW did in the '70s, would look great over the dark grey.

...but NOT with a beige interior!

Ohh...fluffink has a point..I assumed you had the tan interior....if it's grey fabric or black leather you could probably be more daring.....

its the cream leather, so i guess being a "neutral" color, most colors will go with it

I think yellow would be too "close, but no cigar" with the beige leather, and I'm not sure orange would be much better...

Lime green would probably be OK with the beige, but even then a darker interior would be better.

Were there ever any navy blue interiors? They'd go really well with any of the three...

Goodness me, no! Darker colours are best. Red CAN work....orange is definitely out.....as would a lime green...anything too bright will make the interior look brown and dirty.

Think in terms dark metallic blues and blacks, maybe dark metallic grey or similar.....serious colours. Sorry. You COULD go for black.....with another colour?

If you're going for a complete colour change de-beigeing is only a liiiiiittle extra effort...

ASBO Orange, Graphite or Gunmetal bottom bits and wheels, Grey/Blue Recaro interior - job jobbed.
