    Fmic

Been offered this for very few pennies, would this fit the leggy with out any major issues visible in the picture?
just saves a few quid as the pipe work I can make up myself pretty much, wondering wether its worth getting and fitting it later on in the year at some time, when I have a few other things done so I can declare the mods at the same time

Looks like it could possibly but you haven't provided the dimensions of it. If you plan on using the stock bumper, this will cover most of your FMIC which isn't much good.

You'll need to get some 3" to 2.5" reducers to connect the FMIC to the rest of the pipework

Having some of it covered is OK as you still get heat sink from the part thats not in the airflow... As long as your not running silly Tubs and Silly heat..

Not sure how thick the FMIC is Kyle ?
If it's 76mm it will fit in behind the protection beam. If it's any thicker then the protection beam will need modifying.. I wouldn't do that as it is weakening the front of the car in an impact. Also not sure the Insurers would like the idea of it also. And it may invalidate your insurance in the event of an accident.

It also looks quite tall also. This may cause issues also.. 600x300x76 is ok with no cutting.

EDIT: Any higher or wider than 600x300x76mm will require further modification to the Protection Beam!!

    Cheers

Hmmm - mine is 600x300x76 and it required modifications to the impact beam (which I've not yet got round to doing).

I think if the core size is the above it will be fine but perhaps it depends on the measurements of the end tanks which dictates whether or not it will fit properly?

Yeah I'm going with a 5, based on the headlights in the first photo, and now that Kyle has posted that photo, you can see it is a 5 by the big fog lights.

Yep thats an evo 5 one alright.

Here's a tip, rotate the evo intercooler 180 degrees, then look at how it sits in regards to the piping. You will have to get new mounting tabs made, but it should go straight into your stock piping holes.
