    evo 8 wheels

    hi all! just bought myself some evo8 wheels with 235/45/17 tyres on them! car looks awesome handles better and is alot more composed, but.... getting a bit of rubbing on rear over harsh speed humps. it also rubs when i boot out of a corner! does anyone know what the best fix for this is? it a pre facelift standard legnum estate! cheers matt

    You can get the arches rolled to avoid this.

    You can roll the rear guards and get around the problem quite easily by doing that.

    ...or you change to 215/45 R17 tyres. No changes in handling etc. but you avoid non-reversible bodywork to your car.

    If you want to get the rear arches rolled, be sure to fill the gap between inner fender and rolled outer fender with some kind of sealant. Otherwise you will risk it to rust...

    225/45/17 will be ok too without rolling the guards 99% of the time

    Yes I have 225 tyres and no rubbing bodywork so far even when loaded with eight evo wheels...
