New posts - select all & delete

As above... say now we log on one morning, we go to "new posts" but the list that displays has nothing in it that we'd like to view.

Is there a function that we can use to say *select all and mark as viewed*? Of course going through each one, one-by-one isn't quite what i had in mind either.

Easy one that....

Simply click on the "Forum" drop down menu (top right) and select "Mark Forums Read"
